Norco Revolver 9.1 is a carbon fibre 29er dual suspension mountain bike for cross country racing. The Revolver is World Cup-level platform crowning Norco’s cross country race bikes, meaning it benefits from all the technology and innovation that goes into winning races at the highest level.
Norco Revolver 9.1 frames are designed with 'Gravity Tune' optimised mountain bike geometry to ensure that weight is optimally distributed regardless of the size of the bike and rider. 'Gravity Tune' is a Norco designed system, where instead of only the front triangle getting bigger with each progression in size, the whole frame and wheel base get bigger proportionately. The key benefit of this is that the rider is centred on the bike for optimal weight distribution and handling, no matter what size bike is being ridden.
Norco’s Advanced Ride Technology (ART) is an optimisation of the suspension which delivers more efficient pedalling, improved square edge bump compliance and more active suspension under braking. The bike maintains a stable platform whilst pedalling, limiting the amount of 'bob' that can be felt on some suspensions. When the bike hits an obstacle, the suspension allows the wheel to move backwards as well up and over. This means the bike clears the obstacles much quicker and more efficiently (square edge bump compliance) than if it were to just hit the obstacle and bounce up and over.
Norco Revolver 9.1 features World Cup level SRAM 1x11 shifting. SRAM XX1 is simple, lightweight and durable with only 1 chainring, eliminating the front derailleur and other associated weight. It offers a more efficient gear selection, and eliminates redundant gear ratios that are repeated in 2x and 3x drivetrains. XX1 is also less prone to chain dropping, increasing overall reliability. RockShox suspension and DT Swiss wheels. Revolver 9.3 it a race ready, carbon trail bike with 100mm of travel, perfect for keen cross country riders and competitors.
Other high end components include DT Swiss X 1700 Spline wheels, RockShox forks and Fox Float shock. Overall, the Norco Revolver is super fast XC trail bike, designed for riders looking for the highest level of performance.
