Meet The Team

Name: Conner Healy
Role: Team Leader
Customer Service Experience:  Several years in hospitality while studying a bachelors in business, then most recently a Sales Consultant at our Castle Hill store.
Riding Experience: Growing up I loved Dirt Jumping and Downhill Mountain biking, but the new technology in bikes has created the new discipline of Gravity Enduro, which is a blend of the best – but not much has changed, I just want to have fun. I have also recently dabbled in some road riding, after some pressure in the team.
What do you love about bikes?: It makes you feel like a kid playing with toys.
Expertise:  Mountain bikes, but also loving the new experience E-Bikes bring!
Current Bikes: 2018 Norco Range C2 29, Yeti DJ, Yeti SB95, Merida Reacto DA Ltd.
Favourite Ride: Sessioning some technical features and jumps on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, followed by a cheeky craft beer.
Name: Sam Britcher
Role: Future Team Leader
Customer Service Experience: 8 Years retail experience in various roles around the world. I’ve always worked in stores that specialize in outdoor pursuits, most recently backcountry skiing and bike shops for the last few years.
Riding Experience: I got hooked on biking while I was living in Whistler, Canada. I went for the snowboard season and ended up buying a downhill bike and sticking around for summer getting the lifts up and blasting down. Since then I’ve been getting more into all mountain riding and Enduro.
Expertise: Mountain bikes and the rising trend of eBikes.
What do you love about bikes?: I love the freedom and exploration that bikes allow you, finding new trails and adrenaline rush when things get a little loose.
Current Bikes: Specialized Stumpjumper, Specialized Status downhill rig.
Favourite Ride: Give me a bike park with a lift up and I’m a happy guy.
Name: Piers Carroll

Customer Service Experience: I have been in retail for almost 8 years, working with customers and providing a great experience, something I am passionate about. Working with bikes all day is a dream come true. Most recently, I have just moved from RAdelaide, having worked in one of our 99 Bikes stores in Mile End.
Riding Experience:I bought a bike a few years ago after not having the confident to ride on the roads but have been hooked ever since. Riding my bike everyday as my main form of transport helps me un-wind after work.
Expertise: eBikes, Hybrid, and Road bikes.
What do you love about bikes?: The simplicity of a bike and what you can achieve is incredible and very captivating. I love that bikes are eco friendly and the amount of friendship built during a ride or the community it creates is good to see.
