What is the ‘Green Team’?
The Green Team is a group of 8 passionate cyclists who are sponsored by 99 Bikes to ride to work. Each team member is receiving a new bike, plus clothing, accessories and support valued at over $1500.

The team’s aim is to help relieve traffic congestion, improve the sense of community between riders and motorists, cut carbon emissions and promote a healthy lifestyle.

How did you select the Green Team?
We have looked for a diverse range of people – beginners and seasoned riders of any age or physical fitness. The successful applicants all stood out as enthusiastic commuters from the Brisbane area.  

Green Team members are model Brisbane workers - environmentally conscious, positive and focused on lifestyle and health.

What kind of sponsorship is offered?
99 Bikes has suppplied each rider with over $1500 of cycling gear:

-	A commuter 9930 bike valued at $649 with quality components
-	99 Bikes jersey and vest valued at $220
-	A Helmet valued at $100
-	A Light Set valued at $60
-	A Seatbag with spare tubes, a patchkit and tyre levers - $50
-	A Water bottle and Cage - $25
-	A Floor Pump and a Mini Pump - $70
-	A Vaude Cycling Backpack - $120
-	Free servicing on their bikes for one year - ~$200
-	Entry to our loyalty program and 9% off everything for the year
-	Sponsorship period from July 1st 2008 until June 30th 2009

In return, each team member will:

-	Commit to riding a minimum of 3 days per 5 day working week.
-	Endeavour to cut car/transport emissions wherever possible.
-	Have a positive attitude towards motorists and road-sharing.
