absoluteBLACK has designed this premium oval chainring specifically for SRAM cranks. Please note this Chainring is only for Boost148 (Boost and non-boost SRAM cranks are identical) and designed for GXP, DUB and long BB30 spindle cranks. This is 100% optimised for Eagle. The chainring has unique teeth that have been 3D machined to ensure mud doesn’t clog up your drivetrain meaning it’s reduce wear and sound much quieter.

The benefit of choosing an Oval shaped chainring is in the efficiency of the overall pedal stroke, it increases the part of your pedal stroke at the maximum point at which power is produced and then minimises the part of the pedal stroke where you’re just going through the motion. This is particularly beneficial on climbs where your legs won’t fatigue as quickly because of the efficient oval chainring shape.
