So, with the brand-new Cube Litening AIR C:68X SLX Road Bike, Cube worked with Team Wanty to develop a frame from their already-legendary premium C:68X® carbon that combines the best of both worlds. At around 799g for a mid-sized frame it's svelte enough to easily build a UCI-compliant 6.9kg bike, but it's still slippery through the air and comfortable for long days in the saddle. The overall weight saving on a classic road bike is a difference you can clearly feel – and see in your results!
Slippery through the air, comfortable enough to race all day and weighing in at an unbelievably mere 799g for a mid-sized frame, the Cube Litening AIR C:68X SLX Road Bike is the UCI-compliant speed machine you've been looking for. Shimano Ultegra Di2 with built-in power meter handles stop and go duties, while carbon-spoked Newmen Advanced carbon aero wheels – shod with Continental tyres and ultralight Schwalbe Aerothan tubes – help keep the rubber side down even as the speed increases. Full Carbon Cockpit
Weight matters when you're chasing every fraction of a second. That's why The Litening AIR's One Piece Carbon Cockpit has been carefully designed to mimic the range of riding positions available with a traditional stem and handlebar combo, but with a substantial weight saving. Light, strong and elegant, it's another way of making every watt count. It also has an integrated Garmin mount, to further save weight and allow you to marvel at your speed in real-time.
Road climbing geometry
When every second counts, you need your bike's geometry to work with you. The Litening AIR Road Climbing Geometry's short rear centre and emphasis on agile handling ensures that every fraction of a watt you put into the pedals propels you forward, no matter how steep the gradient.
