Experience: Having been working in sport for a number of years, 99bikes is the start of a new challenge. I have experience racing in crits and triathlons. Enjoy being apart of a fast paced environment that provides others with the joy of physical activity and cycling

Role: Sales Consultant
Experience: After working 5 years in a bicycle import/export company, I began my career at 99Bikes Fitzroy in June 2019 and have since built close relation with customers and discovered lots of interesting biking stories
Expertise: Roadie, Commuter bike and Mountain bike
What do you love about bikes?: I enjoy being outside and taking in the scenery. I love road bikes for their speed and agility, commuter bikes for their flexibility and mountain biking for how it allows you to explore new terrain and its technical difficulty. Both are great in their own rights

Role: Sales Consultant
Experience: I was the former General Manager of a successful go-karting business in North Queensland, in a little country town called Mareeba. My daily duties included the general management of this unique family business, that was built by my father Horst Kipper in 1997. During its time we have expanded and concentrated on developing our hire karting platform. We teach and organise events for families to corporates

What do you love about bikes?: I started riding a bike when I was probably about 3 years old. I remember the freedom and fun I had as a child. Moving on into adult life, I've made some life long friends riding bikes through helping out with the cycling club, to being involved in several charity bike rides

Favourite Ride: Palm Cove to Port Douglas in Queensland. The road heads north and goes up and down and left and right with some fast sweeping bends. To top it off, you have the beautiful ocean literally right next to you
Name: Jervis Ang
Experience: I started my journey with biking industry when I was young, my family owns a bike shop in the Philippine where my father introduced me to cycling and fixing bikes when I was 8 years old. I then started managing and being a bike mechanic when I was 16 as well as competing in local competitions. Joining 99 Bikes in August 2018 is a continuum of my enthusiasm in the biking industry.
Expertise: Everything to do with bike.
What do you love about bikes?: The ease of going around short distances and it's always going to be an eco-friendly means of travelling.

Favourite Ride: Timberland heights. Antipolo church.
Name: Harry Gardner
Experience: My experience and passion for the bike industry began after commencing my very first job as a bike builder at my local bike shop in Brisbane. I then went on to compete in downhill racing for a number of years in high-school. I moved to Melbourne in 2015 and have now been with 99 Bikes for almost 2 years, my first couple months as a casual bike builder and since then have been a full-time bike mechanic. I recently completed my Industrial Design degree and hope to pursue bicycle design in the near future

What do you love about bikes?: You never have to wait in traffic, it's good exercise and you have fun doing it

Favourite Ride: Cannonball downhill run at Thredbo Mountain Resort in NSW. Super flowy in some sections and super techy in others, definitely requires some good travel on your bike but such a good run
