The Merida Big Nine is a Hardtail Mountain Bike designed for cross country and trail riders with all the benefits of the larger 29" wheels. Larger wheels are able to hit obstacles at a lesser angle than smaller wheel sizes, meaning reduced resistance and loss of momentum as the bike rolls over the obstacle and continues along the trail.

The 29" wheels offer a smother ride that improves comfort on the trails. It has all of the same great features of the Big Seven, just with larger wheels and geometry designed to optimise the larger wheel size.
