The Merida eOne Twenty 500 is an exciting and agile electric mountain built to tear up trails and crush any climb. The eOne Twenty 500 is powered by a Shimano E7000 drive unit and Shimano battery, giving you that bit of extra power to get up those tricky climbs so that you can really focus on the technical aspects of mountain biking. This e-bike is a pedal assist design which means that the power only kicks in to assist you when you pedal. The eOne Twenty 500 is an absolute workhorse thanks to the durable and lightweight RaceLite 6066 Aluminum frame which is a lighter and more advanced frame than previous years. The frame is lighter, yet stiffer because of additional heat treatment and triple-butted wall thickness.

While the equipped 130mm travel Suntour XCR Fork and UNAIR TR LOR8 rear shock ensure that this bike can handle the rough stuff on the trails, even with the little bit of extra weight from the e-bike components. The eOne Twenty has been fitted with Shimano MT-420 Hydraulic disc brakes to give you complete control over this electric bike, so that you can attack your ride with confidence. While the Maxxis Rekon tyres complement this bike nicely, giving you a great combination of speed and traction.

eONE-Twenty Frame: HFS-hydroforming Prolite 66 triple butted aluminium frame with aggressive trail geometry and 120 mm rear wheel travel – Shimano STePS E8000 motor allows for short chain stays delivering agility. ‘Smart Entry’ cable routing for rattle free running. Casting motor bracket creates an integrated appearance of the motor into the frame as well as provides an extremely strong connection between frame and motor.

Boosted Performance: The eONE-TWENTY benefits from the advantages of the extra 6 mm width of the ‘Boost 12x148’ standard. Shallower spoke angles and through axles make for stiffer wheels. The chain line moves outwards – necessary to create short chain stays delivering agility and massive grip from the B+ tyres.

Trunion Mount: A trunnion mount shock gives our frame designers more flexibility by using a shorter shock with increased stroke. Combined with the ball bearing bushing of the upper mount, shock sensitivity is increased, and the suspension performance can be perfectly tuned.

Smart Entry: Cables, housings and brake hoses are clamped under tension to prevent rattling when the trails and roads get rough. All inlets are completely interchangeable to deal with Di2, hydraulic hoses, brake cable and gear cable housings etc.

Balanced Geometry: With short chain stays the models are blessed with super playful handling. The long reach in combination with a short stem and wide handlebars offer tons of control even in the trickiest situations.
