The Merida Big Nine SLX is a hardtail mountain bike loaded with a Shimano SLX Groupset and for an awesome hardtail riding experience. The lightweight Big Nine Alloy frame comes with internally routed cables in 2021 to minimise maintenance and keep your bike looking clean. It runs a simple yet sleek 1x12 speed SLX Drivetrain which is more than capable when it comes to those hard climbs as it rolls with smooth efficiency and clean gear changes. 1x12 is the new gold standard in mountain biking as it offers a wide range of gears yet the simplicity of a 1x setup to minimise hassle and maintenance.
The Manitou Markhor Comp Fork with remote lockout and 100mm travel for a smooth and agile ride. It wouldn't be the Big Nine without 29" Merida Comp Wheels and Maxxis Ikon 2.2" Tyres for a quick and smooth ride. Ride with confidence, hitting every descent or turn hard thanks to the reliable Shimano MT-4100 Hydraulic Disc Brakes which give you unmatched control in all conditions. The Merida Big Nine SLX Mountain Bike offers cross-country versatility with 29" wheels, an excellent 12 speed groupset and powerful hydraulic disc brakes to form a well-rounded hardtail.
