The Merida Speeder 100 Flat Bar Road Bike is is lightweight and fast, it shares it shares its DNA with Merida's drop bar road bikes range with the major difference being the more comfortable upright riding position. With 2 piston hydraulic disc brakes and a sporty carbon fork at great value, The Speeder 100 bike is an excellent mid range bike that guarantees a fast feeling, comfortable ride that's perfect for commuting, recreation or getting fit!
Hydraulic Disc Brakes
Disc Brakes provide you with better braking performance in all conditions, unlike rim brakes which can be heavily impacted by dust and water, disc brakes maintain control in all conditions. These brakes give you confidence that you'll stop when you need to and with a hydraulic system you will have greater control and and have better feedback through your levers, hydraulic systems aren't prone to cable stretch and self adjust as your brake pads wear down - meaning you can focus on the riding!
Comfortable Geometry
This bike is sporty yet comfortable, it has a more upright seating position thanks to additional height at the front of the bike in the at the headset. This bike is accessible and ready to ride without a bunch of riding experience!
Carbon Fork
The fork features a tapered steerer, you'll have precise and confident steering. With carbon's special properties you'll gain great lateral stiffness for control and vertical tolerances which enable a more absorbent more comfortable ride. Best of both worlds!
