The Segway-Ninebot F40 is a reliable electric scooter at an affordable price. The F40 comes with a 350W motor in the front wheel providing enough power for most riders to get around the city, with a max. speed of 20km/h and a range of up to 38km. The F40 is suitable for riders up to 100kg and has an ability to climb slopes up to 10 degrees. The F40 features regenerative braking, which uses the engine to slow the scooter whilst at the same time diverting energy lost through braking back into the battery. There is also a rear mechanical disc brake.
The F40 comes with three riding modes: Eco, Standard, and Sport which change the overall top speed and acceleration. The F40 has a low 15.8kg weight meaning that it can easily be stored or carried onto public transport. You’ll also get puncture-resistant rubber tyres on the F40, which is rare at this price point.
