The Silverback Scento Path HD is a great upgrade on Silverback's fantastic Scento Path V. It still offers a front suspension fork to give you the versatility to go practically anywhere on your bike. However, the addition of mechanical disc brakes increases braking performance - something we highly recommend for riders living in hilly areas. As with all Scento Path models, you'll find it's constructed using 6061 T6 Hydroformed Alloy ensuring it remains lightweight and handles like a dream. While the uprated Suntour NEX front suspension fork offers a great rebound rate and in combination with the wide 40c tyres offers a supple, magic carpet-like ride as it conquers rough surfaces and rolls over everything it comes across. If you're after a comfy, versatile and efficient daily commuter that's capable in all weather conditions and terrains, then the Silverback Scento Path HD is the perfect bike for you!
Hydroformed Alloy Frame
Using high-end 6061 T6 aluminium, the Scento's frame offers excellent strength and durability without excess weight. while the hydroforming technology helps to tune the aluminium tubes to give the best possible stiffness to weight ratio.
Comfortable Geometry
This bike is sporty yet comfortable, it has a more upright seating position thanks to additional height at the front of the bike in the headset. This bike is accessible and ready to ride without a bunch of riding experience!
Hydraulic Disc Brakes
Disc brakes provide you with better braking performance in all conditions, unlike rim brakes which can be heavily impacted by dust and water, disc brakes maintain control in all conditions. These brakes give you confidence that you'll stop when you need to and with a hydraulic system you will have greater control and have better feedback through your levers, hydraulic systems aren't prone to cable stretch and self adjust as your brake pads wear down - meaning you can focus on the riding!
