The Maxxis Ikon 3C MaxxSpeed EXO TR Folding Tyre 26 x 2.35 Black is a versatile, lightweight Cross-Country racing tyre, designed for those that feel at home out on the trails climbing hill after hill - hour on hour (especially in lycra). The Maxxis Ikon 3C MaxxSpeed EXO TR Folding Tyre 26 x 2.35 Black has very predictable handling making it it wicked fast, if you’re after something to keep you quick an honest on your next XC ride or something to provide a bit more traction and width on the gravel this tyre will absolutely hit the mark.

3C MaxxSpeed

Using a unique 3 compund approach, Maxxis has designed the 3C MaxxGrip to provide a thin soft compound on the shoulders (outer edges of the tyre tread) a thin medium compound in the centre and a thick hard compound on the base layer (area closest to your inner tube). This is perfect for cross country and enruo riding, you'll exprience less rolling resistance than 3C MaxxTerra and better treadwear than 3C MaxxGrip - these tyres last and provide great traction perfect for XC and Trail applications!

EXO

EXO Protection means your tyres are equipped with an extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant sidewall, the woven material doesn't compromise on performance and is still super lightweight. If you ride on trails with loose rocks or quite natural and treacherous by design you'll appreciate the added protection Maxxis EXO provides.

Tubeless Ready

This tyre is ready to provide you with heaps of benefits when you set it up tubeless with a tubeless compatible rim! With a tubeless setup you can run lower air pressure in your tyres allowing better deflection meaning better traction, and lower rolling resistance - you'll also get less flats than with an inner tube as liquid sealant can help block any small punctures in the tyre keeping you riding for longer!
