If you have any hills on your casual rides you'll be okay thanks to the 3x7 speed Shimano drivetrain which has the range of gears to make any hill a breeze. If you are commuting to work or school you'll need some racks for your luggage and thankfully the Transit is loaded with rack and mudguard mounts.
