3-PIECE CHROMOLY CRANK
Academy has souped up their Inspire 18" model with a 3-piece Chromoly crank! The standard for high-end BMX bikes, 3-piece cranks are stiffer and stronger than standard cranks, meaning you can smash it at the skate park with confidence. Being made with Chromoly means that these cranks are lightweight while still retaining their strength, perfect for supporting you through races, tricks, and stacks.
SEALED BEARING BOTTOM BRACKET
The Academy Inspire features a sealed mid 19" bottom bracket. Sealed bearings in the bottom bracket offer reliability and reduced maintenance requirements so you can focus on what matters, the riding!
CHROMOLY FRAME
Made with Chromoly, the Academy Inspire 18" frame is durable, but still light enough to whip around. Chromoly frames are popular in high-end BMX bikes and are designed to take whatever you throw at them.
