Tough trails and long days in the mountains make big demands of both bike and rider. Luckily, the Stereo ONE77 C:68SLX has got your back. With its lightweight Carbon Frame and Fox Suspension components, its got everything you need to take on the mountains and come out on top.
It's tough to improve on perfection, but that's what Cube have done with the new Stereo ONE77 C:68X frame. First up, it's light, at just 2.3kg. That's a difference you can feel on the climbs and descents. There's a flip chip and two mounting points for air and coil shocks, giving a range of options for progression and shock performance. An angle adjustment insert means you can switch between 63.8 and 64.4 head angles and the bottom bracket is threaded for maximum versatility and durability. Cube deliberately didn't include a frame storage compartment, to keep weight down and strength up. But there is a mounting point for a custom trail tool under the down tube. Simply put, you're all set. Bring it on...
Please note this bike has adjustable geometry, allowing you to choose between Moderate and Slack geometry based on your preferred setup and riding style. All Specifications shown are for the moderate setting.
C:68X Carbon Fibre Technology
Combining all of Cubes' past expertise from carbon frame building into the ultimate material, C:68X® carbon uses the optimum blend of fibre and nano particle-infused resin. Precision Advanced Twin Mold manufacturing means avoiding bonded sleeves or inserts, too. It's the new benchmark for light, stiff and strong.
Advanced Twin Mould
With Cubes Advanced Twin Mold process two precisely manufactured forms are used for the C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
Boost148
A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That's the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows wider flange spacing for better wheel performance without impacting on shifting accuracy or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you can go faster and harder with better handling and stronger wheels.
