This is in part due to the unbelievable Fox Float Factory 49 Fork with 190mm travel for optimal downhill performance. You'll get an unmatched feel as this is a lot more agile than your typical downhill bike, with a lot of support in the rear suspension thanks to the Fox Float Factory X2 rear shock which gives it some pop off jumps. It really can handle anything, eating up any holes, rocks or ditches with ease.

GT built this bike with the downhill specific Shimano SAINT groupset for durability and reliability which is suited to full-speed descending capabilities. You'll feel in complete control of this silent yet slick groupset which is matched with the Shimano SAINT M820 hydraulic Disc Brakes and 203mm rotors. These brakes really are something else, control is just as important as speed in downhill and these brakes are incredible, you'll have the confidence to ride aggresively on any track. Rolling on 29" Stan's Flow EX3 TR rims and Schwalbe Magic Mary tyres you'll have grip and control on any surface.
