The GT Avalanche Sport is an awesome hardtail mountain bike for the rider that wants to develop their mountain biking on a hardtail. The brand new alloy 6061 frame is durable and lightweight and is built with internal cable routing which gives this bike a sleek and clean appearance. It also comes with stealth dropper post routing and floating seat stays to maximise comfort.
The Avalanche offers excellent value with the 3x9 speed drivetrain giving you crisp shifting and easy speed on any climb or descent. The Tektro M275 Hydraulic Disc Brakes with 160mm rotors are another standout feature on the avalanche, offering you complete control over the Avalanche so that you can ride with confidence on any trail, in any conditions. While the SR Suntour XCT-DS fork with hydraulic lockout and 100mm travel gives you enough travel to really push the Avalanche on the dirt. You'll be equipped to take on a wide variety of terrains with the WTB Ranger Comp 2.25" tyres built for sharp rocks, ditches and everything in between.
