MET Manta MIPS Helmet Red

The MET Manta MIPS Road Helmet takes the greatness of the Manta and adds world class MIPS so that aerodynamic speed is matched with equally high-quality safety features. Designed with insight from the world's best riders, the Manta takes the aero design a step further with the tube shaped profile at the rear. The In-mould polycarbonate shell with EPS liner is matched with MIPS-C2® brain protection system so that the helmet shell will slide relative to your head so that you're protected against rotational forces.

You can get the perfect fit on every ride with the 360° head belt fit system that gives you 4 position for vertical adjustment and 2 occipital adjustments. The addition of the Fidlock® magnetic buckle makes it faster and easier to secure your helmet, which is perfect for triathlon. The MET Manta MIPS Road Helmet gives you easy speed without sacrificing safety or comfort, leading the way with world class design so that you can ride at your best in training, racing or a triathlon.

Features

Ventilation:  We’ve engineered the internal shape to channel the air and MET’s signature NACA Vent works in synergy with the specially positioned exhaust ensuring
a constant airflow through the helmet, without catching the wind and creating drag.

FIidlock® Magnetic Buckle: The Fidlock® magnetic buckle makes it easier and faster to fasten the helmet. The feature effectively reduces triathlon transition times.

Safety: At MET we take cyclists’ safety very seriously; every single production batch of helmets is strictly tested in our own lab. To enhance safety further, the new Manta features the MIPS-C2® brain protection system, which allows the helmet shell to slide relative to the head in the event of a crash, redirecting potentially harmful rotational energy.

Aerodynamics: The Manta Mips is more aerodynamic that its predecessor thanks to its lower and tube-shaped profile at the rear, which we developed with specific wind-tunnel testing in the NEWTON laboratory of Milan.

Fit: Beyond its technical prowess, the Manta Mips is also exceptionally comfortable. The 360° head belt ensures that there will be no pressure points on the skull and its internal shape is inspired by the award-winning MET Trenta 3K Carbon.
