Simplicity and Lightweight
An alloy frame helps to keep the bike’s weight down which is a big advantage for much lighter riders. Gears are also kept to a minimum, avoiding confusion for young riders and again reducing weight.

The Matts J24 is made with the same lightweight aluminium Merida uses in our adult bikes – Merida doesn’t cut any corners! It’s also painted and lacquered in the same high standard process, meaning the bike can still look great even after a few tough knocks.
