The Merida One-Sixty 6000 is an enduro mountain bike that is made for tackling aggressive terrain. The One-Sixty 6000 comes equipped with the spec you need to take on the steepest climbs and roughest descents. The Nano Matrix Carbon frame with alloy rear has fibres bonded together with an epoxy resin and added nano particles, increasing impact resistance by up to 40% and protecting the integrity of the carbon frame. An inflatable bladder in the construction of the frame to ensure there are no wrinkles inside the tube as these can add weight and create weakness. This results in a lighter, stiffer and stronger frame. The cables, housings and brake hoses are clamped under tension to prevent rattling when the trail gets rough and all inlets are completely interchangeable to deal with potential Di2 upgrades, hydraulic hoses, brake cable and gear cable housings etc. A tapered head tube with 1 1/8" bearings in the top and 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" in the bottom is used to create superb stiffness and precise steering.

The One-Sixty 6000 is built with aggressive geometry, including super short 430mm chain stays, long reach (445mm*) and slack head angle of 65.3°. This makes it an uncompromising bike that is made to go all day. A 12-speed Sram GX Eagle drivetrain and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes will give you reliable performance day after day. The brakes are paired with 200mm and 180mm rotors for excellent braking in any conditions.

The 170mm Rock Shox Lyrik RC fork is durable enough to handle any punishment you can give it, while the 170mm travel will ensure any bumps are as smooth as you could hope for. The Super Deluxe RCT rear shock will help manage the back end and the lower shock mount moves with the system to deliver sensitive response characteristics. A ‘Float Link’ rear suspension system appears to offer more travel than the model name suggests.

The Merida One-Sixty 6000 is built to go all day under intense workloads and is perfect for enduro racing. The components are of the highest standards and you’re sure to get the most out of yourself with this bike.

Features

Float Link Rear Suspension 2019: The lower shock mount moves with the system to deliver sensitive response characteristics. Our engineers can precisely influence the transmission ratio and progression meaning a ‘Float Link’ rear suspension system appears to offer more travel than the model name suggests.

Superlite 16 Alloy 2019: Our latest grade of aluminium (6016) enables super thin wall thicknesses whilst delivering amazing strength, ideal for demanding off-road riding and racing.

Nano Matrix Carbon 2018: To protect the integrity of carbon frames, the fibres are bonded together with an epoxy resin with added nano particles, increasing impact resistance by up to 40%.

AWS 2018: When creating the individual carbon elements, an inflatable bladder is used to ensure there are no wrinkles inside the tube as these can add weight and create weakness. This results in a lighter, stiffer and stronger frame.

X-Taper Headtube 2019: Using a tapered head tube with 1 1/8" bearings in the top and 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" in the bottom creates superb stiffness and precise, confidence inspiring steering.

Internal Cable 2019: Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. The bike looks neat, whilst the cables are protected from moisture and dirt.

Smooth Welding 2019: Sometimes called ‘double pass welding’, a second pass over the weld gives a clean organic look to the frame. At first glance you will be convinced it is carbon.

Smart Entry 2019: Cables, housings and brake hoses are clamped under tension to prevent rattling when the trail gets rough. All inlets are completely interchangeable to deal with Di2, hydraulic hoses, brake cable and gear cable housings etc.

Di2 Ready 2019: Bikes/frames with the symbol ‘Di2 Ready’ are prepared for the installation of Di2 technology with battery mounting in the seat post or within the fork steerer.

12-148 Thru-Axle ‘Boost’ 2019: New Boost standard – wider axle widths; 110 mm front and 148 mm rear, allowing a shallower spoke angle for stiffer wheels, especially beneficial in 29ers.

C-S Post Mount Disc 2019: Post mount disc brake calipers fit directly onto the seat stay for a strong and light connection whilst a chainstay post mount positions the caliper on the chainstay within the rear triangle for extra protection and better distribution of braking forces. Another benefit is that internal cable routing is also easier and neater via the chainstay.

15-110 Thru-Axle ‘Boost’ 2019: New Boost standard – wider axle widths; 110 mm front and 148 mm rear, allowing a shallower spoke angle for stiffer wheels, especially beneficial in 29ers.
