The Merida Big Nine 5000 is a high-quality hardtail which combines aggressive agility with smooth stability to form an excellent modern XC bike. The CF3 Carbon frame is light, stiff and tough so that you can get the most of every ride, paired with a RockShox Reba RL Fork (51mm offset) with 100mm travel and remote lockout. It is designed with Merida's race-proven geometry with a shorter top tube and a higher head tube for a slightly upright position that gives you improved visibility.

A great frame needs to be matched with a great groupset and the 1x12 speed Shimano drivetrain offers smooth shifting and the simple efficiency of the 1x is now standard on all good mountain bikes. This will give you the range of gears you need to tear up the trails on the Maxxis Ikon 29" tyres and Merida Expert CC Rims.
