The Merida Reacto 4000 Aero Road Bike brings the all new V4 Reacto Frame for the most advanced aero riding experience. The Reacto is a high-performance aero road bike with stable ride characteristics which allows you to ride in relative comfort for such a performance focused bike. The CF3 Carbon frame lays the platform for this efficient road machine, offering similar stiffness and stability as the top of the line CF5 frame, just ever so slightly heavier.

It also comes with a brand new fork design which is intelligently integrated into the frame, while the new handlebar design and removing all the cables (by completely integrating the cables into the cockpit and frame) not only looks super smooth but each integrated cable saves up to 2 watts. The Reacto 4000 is kitted out with a 2x11 speed Shimano 105 Groupset with an 11-30t cassette for swift road riding.

Also new in 2021 is the front and rear integrated disc coolers to prevent overheating so that you can get the most out of the Shimano 105 Hydraulic Disc Brakes. It may come standard with a Merida Expert CW Wheelset and Continental Ultra Sport III 700x25c tyres but one of the big changes is that the new Reacto now has tyre clearance for 30mm tyres which really adds to the comfort, smoothness and stability without a significant impact on performance. As the entry point to the high end Reacto range the main differences between this model and the next model up, the Reacto 6000 is the groupset (Ultegra vs 105) as well what you’re rolling on, Fulcrum Racing 800DB wheels with Continental Sport Race Tyres on the 6000 instead of a Merida Expert Wheelset with Continental Grand Sport Ultra III Tyres.
