You can go for hours on end in comfort thanks to the lightweight CF3 carbon frame with excellent vibration damping qualities, designed with brand new comfort geometry for an upright position that maximises comfort and control. It combines Merida Expert parts with the all new Merida Wire Port so that shifting and braking cables are routed through the headset for an incredibly clean cockpit.

The Scultura Endurance 4000 runs a 2x11 speed Shimano 105 groupset with a 50-34T crankset and 11-34 cassette. Shimano 105 will give your precise and reliable shifting that gets the job done on every ride, without costing a fortune. You also get Shimano 105 Hydraulic Disc Brakes which give you responsive braking control in all conditions for enhanced control and confidence in the wet or while you descend and corner. The 4000 rolls on lightweight Merida Expert SL DB Rims, which are paired with wide 700x32c Maxxis Detonator tyres for a good mix of speed and traction. You can even fit this bike with 35c tyres for maximum comfort and the smoothest ride. This bike does everything you could ask for, however if you are after a bit more then the Scultura Endurance 5000 shares all of the same great characteristics, just with an Ultegra groupset instead of 105.
