The Merida Silex 7000 Gravel Bike is built to be a versatile machine that combines comfort with speed and efficiency for a dynamic ride. Whether you're after a highly qualified commuter or pressing into adventure road racing, the Silex 7000 is ready to roll from day one.  It's hard to go wrong with the 12 gear, 10-51 speed Shimano GRX820 Groupset. which is built to excel offroad. With its crisp shifting and reliable design this bike gives you serious speed that will give you confidence at the same time. The CF2 Carbon Frame and fork are extremely light and minimises some of the bumps off-road, yet they're still tough enough to handle the rough stuff on the gravel.

You won't have to worry about your braking power as the Shimano GRX820 Hydraulic Disc Brakes give you unmatched braking power which performs in all weather conditions so that you never get caught out. The Easton EA70 AX rimmed wheels are built to perform, matched with the wider 700x45c Maxxis Rambler Tyres which offer speed and grip so that you're comfortable on gravel, dirt and can still let it rip on the road.

The Silex 7000 is a high-end gravel bike with a carbon frame, gravel-specific groupset, and quality braking for a ride that offers control. comfort and a fair bit of speed too.

Hydroformed Tubes

Using their Hydro Forming System, Merida creates tubes that are strong yet lightweight. The tubes are inserted into a negative mold and a hot emulsion of water and oil is passed through them at pressure which enables them to be formed into complex shapes while still retaining strength.

Lightweight CF2 Frame

The lightweight CF2 carbon frame utilises Nano Matrix technology, where carbon fibers are bonded together using an epoxy resin with added nano particles which increases impact resistance by up to 40%!

X-Taper Headtube

The X-tapered headtube on this bike provides room for a tapered fork to be fitted. Tapered forks provide superb stiffness and precise confidence-inspiring shifting, with this setup you'll be able to navigate streets and corners with ease!
