The Norco Optic A 1 is an aluminium frame trail bike that blends all-mountain playfulness with cross country efficiency. The versatility of the Optic A 1 means that this bike can do what you want, when you want .The premium lightweight aluminium frame with trail geometry delivers a quick, responsive and playful riding experience. Norco have put a significant amount of energy into developing a strong, yet light carbon frame. Their SmoothCore process and the ArmorLite resin which is used in the bonding process, creates an incredibly strong frame with increased impact resistance. The Gravity Tune design fixes the front-centre/rear-centre ratio across all frame sizes, effectively optimising geometry and rider weight distribution for every bike in the line.

The A.R.T. suspension system delivers high-end suspension performance for superior climbing and descending capability. The suspension system is optimised for the Optic A 1’s intended use to ensure that it will excel in the versatile environments it was designed for. The brand new Fox 34 Performance Float Fork with 130mm travel combines seamlessly with the Fox Float DPS Air rear shock to give you excellent control and comfort when you need it most.

The revolutionary 12-speed SRAM NX/GX Eagle groupset is incredibly lightweight, providing silent and smooth race-level performance day in, day out. SRAM also looks after the braking as the Optic A 1 is equipped with SRAM Guide R hydraulic disc brakes and 180mm rotors. Every aspect of this bike is carefully considered by Norco and for that reason it has a Maxxis Minion DHF tyre on the front and Maxxis Forecaster tyre on the rear. This will give you the best performance and feel, ensuring that you can tackle difficult terrain without sacrificing speed.

The Norco Optic A 1 is the all-rounder you need to take on a wide range of environments. With fast wheels and efficient suspension, this bike is excellent value and perfect for you next riding challenge.

Features

A.R.T. Suspension: Trail-tuned for the perfect balance of traction and efficiency on the way up and complete control on the way down.

650b and 29er Wheels: The Optic uses 650B wheels on the XS-S frame sizes to offer the best fit and handling for smaller riders, while the M-XL frames use 29er wheels. Both are tuned to deliver a perfect fit and optimal performance on the trail.

Boost Spacing: Allows for the same compact rear-centre length for both 650B and 29er models, ample tire clearance and a stiffer, stronger wheel.

Optic Aluminum Frame With Trail Geometry: Premium lightweight aluminium frame delivers a quick, responsive and playful riding experience.

Removable Front Derailleur Mount: Offers the flexibility to run a side-swing front derailleur or a clean-looking 1x drivetrain with or without a chainguide.
