The Pivot Trail 429 is a versatile trail weapon built to tackle XC, trail, all mountain and enduro riding.  Pivot took the original Mach 429 Trail and reshaped the frame as well changing the geometry to be far more progressive and ensure that this bike can handle technical terrain, climbing and everything in between. The carbon frame is built using Pivot's proprietary hollow-core moulding technology which makes the frame is lightweight while remaining incredibly durable and stiff for excellent performance and power out on the trails. Everything about this bike is well-balanced so that it can handle a wide variety of challenges, with strength and stiffness enhanced by a double-wishbone rear triangle, Super Boost Plus rear axle spacing, ultra-wide suspension linkages and burly bearing assemblies.

The Trail 429 is equipped with Dave Weagle’s renowned DW-Link rear suspension which allows you to precisely control the rear axles path and remains active when you brake so that you can maintain control, momentum and traction when you need it most. Then add in the 130mm travel Fox Factory 34 and Fox Factory Float DPS Rear Shock and you have a nimble and agile bike that can climb and descend as well as any of its competitors. This reliable suspension system is paired brilliantly with a Shimano 11-speed drivetrain for ridiculously crisp shifting and efficiency. While the Shimano SLX 7000 brakes will give you absolute control over your braking power and the SUNringle Duroc 40 wheels you’re rolling on.
