The Fizik Gravita Tensor Flat Shoes are a solid, lightweight, form-fitting gravity mountain bike shoe ready to race. The Tensor shoes have been designed from the ground up to be a protective and durable shoe that enhances bike control through the pedals. They're also lightweight and nimble, yet rugged enough to withstand race after race, whether it be downhill or enduro.

The Tensor shoes benefit from a Gravita outsole which provides the shoe-to-pedal interface you require for fast and aggressive gravity riding, combining a Vibram XS EVO rubber compound with a specific zonal lug pattern that allows for an immediate connection and optimal mechanical interface with the pedal pins. Under the heel and toes, you'll find that the Tensor shoes have a deeper, sharper tread that provides better ground traction for when you eventually have to hike back up hill.

It's all well and good to offer supreme grip, however, it would be completely wasted without proper foot tension! Otherwise, every watt of power generated isn't being transferred effectively. As a result Fizik developed an ergonomic lace-up pattern that cradles the foot and spreads tension evenly throughout the pedal stroke while the addition of a Powerstrap over the instep secures the shoe.

With the Tensor being a race-orientated shoe, you'd be forgiven for assuming they would be minimalistic and light on protection to ensure weight saving. However, the Tensor doesn't hold back from protecting your feet. Fizik have stripped weight and excess material to ensure a slim fit. Indeed, the Tensor features an armoured toe box, raised inner-ankle profile, and a robust laminated scuff guard to ensure your feet are protected from an inevitable fall or rock strike and prevents crushing or bruising.
