The Fizik Vento Stabilita prioritises foot stability through the use of Fizik's patented Dynamic Arch Support 2.0 - a fully adjustable plantar support system that adapts to an individual rider's anatomy. This results in both comfort and performance as a properly supported plantar fascia results in the medial arch stiffening, which in turn allows for efficient power transfer. Indeed" the Vento Stabilita is Fizik's most efficient shoe yet, with minimal useful power lost with every stroke.
The Dynamic Arch Support 2.0 is a fully integrated feature of the Vento Stabilita's carbon outsoles, with a dedicated section of the upper wrapping around the plantar arch for improved support. The upper is constructed out of a resilient polyurethane-laminated material combined over a comfortable mesh, which results in reduced yield and long-lasting foot support where it's needed most. With the use of a BOA Fit System, the upper can be adjusted to each rider‚ös unique foot shape. The addition of Fizik's Volume Control system allows for differentiated fit adjustments for both the instep and forefoot. By controlling two separate BOA dials, cyclists can fine-tune the Vento Stabilita to fit their unique foot shape, ensuring maximum performance and support.
The new carbon fibre outsole features an engineered carbon fibre layup resulting in increased stiffness, and a signficant decrease in weight. With a stiffness index of 10, the Vento Stabilita is Fizik's stiffest shoe. Ever. The sole also features from a wide vent inlet and deep internal channelling which provide cooling airflow for enhanced temperature control. While the positioning of the cleat is set slightly further back than traditional road shoes to optimise pedalling efficiency and reduce knee compression. This makes the Vento Stabilita especially well-suited to aggressive aero riding positions.
