The Silverback Scento Path MD is a great upgrade on Silverback's fantastic Scento Path V. It still offers a front suspension fork to give you the versatility to go practically anywhere on your bike. However, the addition of mechanical disc brakes increases braking performance - something we highly recommend for riders living in hilly areas. As with all Scento Path models, you'll find it's constructed using 6061 T6 Hydroformed Alloy ensuring it remains lightweight and handles like a dream. While the uprated Suntour NEX front suspension fork offers a great rebound rate and in combination with the wide 40c tyres offers a supple, magic carpet-like ride as it conquers rough surfaces and rolls over everything it comes across. If you're after a comfy, versatile and efficient commuter that's capable in seriously hilly areas then the Silverback Scento Path MD should be the natural choice for you!
Hydroformed Alloy Frame
Using high-end 6061 T6 aluminium, the Scento's frame offers excellent strength and durability without excess weight. while the hydroforming technology helps to tune the aluminium tubes to give the best possible stiffness-to-weight ratio.
Comfortable Geometry
This bike is sporty yet comfortable, it has a more upright seating position thanks to additional height at the front of the bike in the headset. This bike is accessible and ready to ride without a bunch of riding experience!
Mechanical Disc Brakes
The mechanical disc brakes offer that extra stopping power so you can ride with confidence, even in areas with large hills or in wet weather.
