The Silverback Stratos AL Elite MS is the Microshift variation of Silverback's Elite-level dual suspension Trail Bike, the Stratos. The 2023 Stratos range has been redesigned to make use of some pretty amazing technology and design features but the end goal is the same - to ensure you finish each run with a grin and feel ready to head up for one more lap!
The Stratos range utilises an Aluminium XC & Trail frame based on the award-winning Stratos CF platform. The Stratos AL Elite MS is designed around a 130mm SR Suntour Zeron 35 Fork up front and a 105mm SR Suntour Rear Shock to provide a little extra comfort and the ability to roll over rough terrain and take on big hits without skipping a beat. Additionally, fast-rolling 29" wheels and wide, sticky Maxxis Forekaster Tyres will keep you rubber side down. At the same time, powerful Tektro Hydraulic Disc Brakes take care of the stopping power and a 1x11 Microshift drivetrain provides smooth shifting performance and ensures there's a gear for any incline. The Stratos AL Elite MS comes stock with internal cable routing and a dropper post to keep you in the optimal riding position, whatever the trail throws at you.
POP GEOMETRY ADAPTED FOR TRAIL
Position-Of-Power geometry is designed to engage bigger muscle groups in pedaling, producing more power output for the same amount of input. Longer frames place the rider forward, in a more balanced position, improving grip on the rear on climbs and on the front for descents. A longer wheelbase and slacker head angle means more control at speed.

The Silverback Stratos AL Elite MS Dual Suspension Mountain Bike comes kitted out with awesome components including 130mm SR Suntour Zeron 35 Boost Forks, an SR Suntour Rear Shock, Tektro Brakes, and a 1x11-Speed Microshift Drivetrain, as well as a dropper post and internal cable routing as standard.
ASYMMETRIC FRAME AND RIMS
A frame's drive side sees different loading from the non-drive side. Power transfer through the drivetrain is consistent and ramps up gradually. By contrast, the brakes exert sudden and high loads during deceleration. Stratos AL asymmetric design is tailored to distribute these variable forces according to their respective magnitude and intensity. Additionally, asymmetrical rims offer better stress triangulation/balance between both sides, improving durability.
