WERA have also identified that hex keys endure significant torque that could cause deformation of the screw or hex key. As a result, they have increased the surface area of the Hex Keys, thereby allowing an additional 20% more torque to be applied through the hex key without causing deformation of the said screw or hex key. Moreover, the Hex Keys feature a rounded head, to further reduce notching to a minimum.
