The Multicycle Solo Metro EMS Electric Hybrid Bike is a sporty electric bike designed to make every ride fun. Built around Shimano's mid-drive STePS E5000 motor, the Solo Metro offers punchy acceleration and manoeuvrability ensuring every ride is smooth and easy. While its pairing with a 10 Speed Shimano Deore drivetrain means riders are offered a wide gearing range making every gradient an absolute breeze.
Multicycle has always focused on making great bikes that are easy to use and cater to a wide variety of uses and riders. With the Solo Metro, this is no exception. It's been based on a superb, lightweight aluminium frame that features double butting to ensure the Solo Metro is incredibly strong without affecting its weight. With the mid-drive location of the Shimano STePS motor, the Solo Metro has a low centre of gravity ensuring it's incredibly stable at any speed and accentuating its manoeuvrability. The swept-back handlebars of the Solo Metro allow riders to maintain an upright seating position for a relaxed and incredibly comfortable riding position. While Multicycle's choice to install the excellent MOBIE 25 fork alongside 45mm wide Vredestein Perfect Tour tyres increases comfort thanks to their combined ability to soak up road feedback.
One thing you'll notice with all Multicycle bicycles is the included accessories you'd normally expect to have to add on! Indeed, the Solo Metro is no exception with a rear carrier installed as standard and nifty LED lights integrated front and rear so you're always visible to other road users, regardless of the lighting conditions!

Shimano Hydraulic Disc Brakes
Disc brakes provide you with better braking performance in all conditions, unlike rim brakes which can be heavily impacted by dust and water, disc brakes maintain control in all conditions. These brakes give you confidence that you'll stop when you need to and with a hydraulic system you will have greater control and have better feedback through your levers, hydraulic systems aren't prone to cable stretch and self adjust as your brake pads wear down - meaning you can focus on the riding!
