Synchronized Shift - control your front and rear derailleurs with one hand, or if using both hands is more your style with Semi-Synchronized you can have your rear derailleur change a couple of gears when you shift your front derailleur so you won't ever have a dramatic change in cadence meaning you'll experience a smoother ride!
