The Cube Aim Race has been designed to shred through all kinds of terrain in pursuit of the best flow. Constructed out of lightweight aluminium and featuring internal cable routing for long maintenance intervals, the Aim Race is the perfect XC hardtail for tight lines and gnarly courses. It rolls efficiently thanks to a wide-range 2 x 8 speed Shimano Drivetrain which is more than capable of climbing mountains and sending it downhill. While the equipped Suntour XCT Fork offers 100mm of travel, and when paired with the grippy 2.25" Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres, comfort, grip and thus confidence come in abundance! Speaking of confidence, the Cube Aim Race features powerful Clarks M2 hydraulic disc brakes for to ensure control over prolonged periods in all conditions and on all terrains. The Race's lower top tube and wide handlebars ensure it changes direction on a dime and handles like a dream so you can chase flow nirvana. The Cube Aim Race is a fun, fast and eay-to-ride hardtail mountain bike, designed to conquer cross country courses without so much as a blink!
Hydraulic Disc Brakes
Disc Brakes provide you with better braking performance in all conditions, unlike rim brakes which can be heavily impacted by dust and water, disc brakes maintain control in all conditions. These brakes give you confidence that you'll stop when you need to and with a hydraulic system you will have greater control and have better feedback through your levers, hydraulic systems aren't prone to cable stretch and self adjust as your brake pads wear down - meaning you can focus on the riding!
Double Butting
Butting offers varying thickness in tubing throughout frame construction so you get the benefit of strength where you need it and a lightweight design everywhere else. As part of the process, frames are heated and cooled significantly increasing the strength of the tubing.
Internal Cable Routing
With internal cable routing, you have the benefit of a modern clean look and the added benefit of preventing rust and fraying of your shift and brake cable, being internal also means your cables are protected while in storage or being transported on the car!
