Its Smooth Welded frame features internal cable routing for durability, plus mounts for a kickstand, mudguards, and carriers. Updated geometry includes a lower top tube and tapered head tube for confident handling, while the SizeSplit system ensures a perfect fit. Smooth Welding
Smooth Welding isn't easy but worthwhile things usually aren't. It has two advantages. First and most obviously it looks great: one tube seems to almost flow into the other. Second and at least as importantly it helps to minimise load peaks on welded areas for better frame strength and durability.
Internal Cable Routing
Cables connect your handlebar controls to vital components like gears and brakes but there's no need for them to get in your way. With Internal Cable Routing Cube have reduced clutter and maintenance by running cables through the frame" keeping them out of the way of dust and water contamination or damage from abrasion, as well as cleaning up your bike's appearance.
Mounting Points
Depending on how you want to use your new hardtail you may want to add some accessories so Cube have included mounting points for a kickstand, mudguards, 2 water bottles (or one bottle one pump) and Cube's SIC Pannier system.

What is the Cube Acid used for?
This hardtail mountain bike is super versatile so can take on anything from technical singletrack (which it was initially designed to take on) adventures to multi-day bikepacking missions. Cube have set it up with versatility in mind which is why there are multiple mounting points and the option to add wider tyres and a dropper post. Depending on how your riding style decelops this bike will grow with you!
Why is the Cube Acid different?
Unlike a lot of hardtails the Cube Acid is set up out of the box with internal cable routing. Paired with top=tier components such as the RockShox Judy Fork SRAM NX Eagle drivetrain and Shimano brakes as well as the includion of smooth welding the Acid is super-capable and can tackle a variety of terrain no matter your preferred style of riding.
Who is the Cube ACID designed for?
Cube's SizeSplit system allows all riders to find the perfect size no matter their stature. For shorter riders 27.5 wheels allow Cube to condense the geometry to fit and taller riders get 29" wheels with scaled up geometry.
