To create the Cube Nuroad Gravel Bike, Cube took inspiration from race and cyclocross bikes, then threw a little mountain bike DNA into the mix. There's plenty of clearance for big, grippy, and comfortable 45mm tyres – or 40mm if you run mudguards at the same time. There are very tidy rack, guard, and kickstand mounts, and neat internal cable routing helps keep gear shifts grit- and mud-free for longer. Quick-release wheels are easy to fit and remove for transport or storage. And the full carbon fork isn't just lightweight – it also helps reduce vibration from the road and features lowrider rack mounts. Powerful disc brakes give you the stopping power you need, in any weather. Reliable Shimano 2x8 gears put the right gear for any route at your fingertips. Although it's in the Gravel Category, the Nuroad defies expectations and refuses to be put in a box - it's highly capable for all manner of riding styles, from commuting to touring to getting loose off-road. All we know for sure is the Cube Nuroad Gravel Bike is fast, fun, and versatile - the rest of the story is yet to be written.
Aluminium superlite frame
Cube's Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminium, which has the qualities – high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength – that are important for a bicycle frame. Then we make it into double butted tubes, to reduce weight without sacrificing any of its strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong and tough frames.
Fender & Rack Options
A gravel bike is a supremely versatile beast, which is why all Cube gravel models have a fender and rack option. With generous frame clearances to fit comfortable, safe and grippy tyres even with full-length mudguards, Cube also neatly integrated the rear rack into the mudguard design – and included a rear light, too. There's even a mounting point for a kickstand.
Gravel comfort geometry
Combining everything Cube know about building great-riding off-road bikes, which is quite the heritage, Gravel Comfort Geometry is the secret ingredient that makes their gravel series such a blast to ride. Nimble enough to mix it up in the rough, stable enough for reassuring descents, and with comfort for the long haul, the Nuroad has got it all covered.
