The Big Seven comes with an easy-to-use 2x8 drivetrain that provides plenty of range for steep climbs and descents at an affordable price while quality hydraulic disc brakes ensure confident braking in all terrains and weather conditions. The lightweight aluminium frame with a maximum wheel and tyre clearance of 27.5 x 2.25" and a 135 x 9mm axle standard is built for the trail and you'll find more natural trails with tree roots and loose rocks quite comfortable with the Suntour XCT30 HLO fork which has 100mm of travel helping you maintain grip in the corners and power through climbs. A huge benefit to this fork is the lockout feature which will have you climbing with maximum efficiency while still having access to the 100mm of suspension on the rocky descents and flats. If you're in the market for a great experience riding fire roads or tackling some easier trails - the Merida Big Seven 20 will have you covered.
