The Merida Matts 20 is a budget friendly option for riders looking for a beginner friendly hardtail that feels just as at home on the trail as it does on the footpath. A lightweight double butted aluminium frame offers a more upright seatig position that most hardtails on the market, giving you greater comfort and control over your ride. Combined with a 100mm suspension fork and powerful hydraulic disc brakes, the Matts 20 is one tough customer, tackling rough tracks ands trails with ease while the broad gear range offered by the Shimano drivetrain makes even steep ascents a breeze. If you're looking to give mountain biking a try, or are simply looking to upgrade to a quality build ad a great price, the Merida Metss 20 offers great bang for buck

Hydraulic Disc Brakes

Disc Brakes provide you with better braking performance in all conditions, unlike rim brakes which can be heavily impacted by dust and water, disc brakes maintain control in all conditions. These brakes give you confidence that you'll stop when you need to and with a hydraulic system you will have greater control and have better feedback through your levers, hydraulic systems aren't prone to cable stretch and self adjust as your brake pads wear down - meaning you can focus on the riding!

Double Butted Aluminium Frame

This double-butted aluminium frame offers strength and durability while keeping the weight down. This allows you more manoeuverability and makes tackling steeper climbs a breeze!

Comfortable Geometry

This bike is sporty yet comfortable, it has a more upright seating position thanks to additional height at the front of the bike in the headset. This bike is accessible and ready to ride without a bunch of riding experience!
