The Silverback Scento Metro MD is a great upgrade on Silverback's do-it-all Scento Metro V. It offers the same comfortable yet efficient ride thanks to its ergonomic flat bar road bike design. However, the addition of mechanical disc brakes increases braking performance - something we highly recommend for riders living in hilly areas. As with all Scento Metro models, it's constructed using 6061 T6 Hydroformed Alloy ensuring it remains lightweight and handles like a dream, while Silverback has equipped the Scento Metro MD with wide 40c tyres to soak up rough surfaces and roll over everything in its way. If you're after a comfy and efficient commuter that's capable in hilly areas then Silverback Scento Metro MD is a great bike for you!
Hydroformed Alloy Frame
Using high-end 6061 T6 aluminium, the Scento's frame offers excellent strength and durability without excess weight. while the hydroforming technology helps to tune the aluminium tubes to give the best possible stiffness to weight ratio.
Comfortable Geometry
This bike is sporty yet comfortable, it has a more upright seating position thanks to additional height at the front of the bike in the headset. This bike is accessible and ready to ride without a bunch of riding experience!
Mechanical Disc Brakes
The mechanical disc brakes offer that extra stopping power so you can ride with confidence, even in areas with large hills or in wet weather.
